Our client specialises in the hospitality sector and leaders in their field. They are currently looking for a freelance CRM Marketing Solutions Architect to join their marketing team and start asap. Their offices are based in central London and they are working 1 day from home 4 days in the office. This is a fixed term contract for 3 months which might extend. The ideal candidate will have strong salesforce experience.

The Role
As a CRM Solutions Architect, you will need to understand the client's current organisation structure and technology stack. Working with the Development, Marketing, Sales and Service Consulting teams you will define architecture and scope solutions, producing Statement of Work(s) and required documentation that the team can execute against. As a subject matter expert, is it important that you provide training to our clients and onboard them on new technologies to ensure a smooth adoption of Salesforce CRM.

Your Profile

  • You'll be working with multiple teams of specialists covering the full Salesforce stack. Our clients are moving to an elaborative Single Customer View model, and this will give you the opportunity to be a crucial part of revolutionising one of the biggest player's within the UK Hospitality sector.
  • You will oversee the user needs gathering to ensure technical fit and to help inform the wider architecture of the solution to meet the user needs, objectives, and goals of our clients.
  • You will own the high level and low-level solution design of end-to-end Salesforce projects. Responsibility regarding security, accessibility, and performance of a solution to ensure safety and scalability is achievable.
  • Design the integration architecture and interfaces required on full Salesforce stack project implementations.
  • Be a key person interacting with client stakeholders, building relationships and customer trust in the capabilities of Salesforce and the Power Platform and demonstrate the art of the possible and help inspire clients and colleagues to deliver the best technical solution possible.

What you'll bring
Detailed product knowledge and technical expertise of Salesforce (Customer Engagement) across a range of discplines from Sales/Reservations to Marketing. End to end Salesforce project lifecycle delivery experience. From initial discovery through to go live and early life-support.

  • You should have relevant experience with implementations of Large CRM solutions.
  • You'll bring experience as a Solution Architect designing solutions, experienced in agile delivery methodologies and will be a Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (Certified or Salesforce)
  • Experience with large scale enterprise projects
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience and knowledge of Azure and Power Platform Solutions
  • Experience working on multi-phase global implementations preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in migrating legacy CRM applications to Salesforce
  • Knowledge in cloud environments ( IaaS , Paas , Saas)


These will be your key performance areas:

  • Understand Client Requirements (solutions architecture)
  • Drive technology success and process transformation in client companies.
  • Host Discovery Sessions
  • Define, strategise and implement data models and data flows to and from the Salesforce CRM to meet customers processes and automation needs.
  • Be able to clearly communicate proposed solution internally to Developers.
  • Perform UAT to ensure brief has been correctly executed.
  • Assist in project scoping
  • Define the project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Being the lead on complex technology configuration projects and mentoring and coaching junior team members on what to implement/configure.
  • Perform Technology Audits
  • Analyse and provide recommendations on how clients can follow their technology best practice.
  • Feed into the technology audit template and process and help define and improve it as tech releases new features.
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Help define how success is measured on each tech solution across the Marketing, Sales and Project Delivery teams.
  • Ensuring integrated reporting across the tech solutions to enable closed-loop reporting and ensure integrations meet these criteria.
  • Monitor Requirements of Technology (features and connect partners)
  • Define data mapping and logic (fields, flow, cadence, etc.)
  • Drive Team Certifications & Technology Training
