Job Details
Great opportunity for an experienced Creative Services Manager to join a leading global beauty brand. With offices in the Buckinghamshire area you will manage the in-house creative studio resource to serve internal and external creative requirements across the business. Working a hybrid model 2 days remote / 3 days in office.
Role Purpose
Ensuring an efficient, productive workflow with robust processes in place to deliver high quality creative in a timely manner, focusing on effective resource allocation and brand consistency.
Managing a team of creative specialists who create and deliver exceptional design, copywriting, photography and videography to the business
Core Accountabiltiies
- Lead the in-house team of Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Videographer, Artworkers and Copywriters to take on all the creative requirements
- Traffic manage the work through studio by checking briefs and allocating to relevant creator in a timely efficient manner.
- Establish and manage external resource with agency partners and other vendors with a focus on flawless execution and cost efficiency.
- Report on a bi-annual basis the studio cost savings by tracking project costs.
- Develop creative (offline and online) with all channels in mind, to ensure full stakeholder engagement for work in progress & carry out reviews post implementation to ensure full integration & joined up messaging
- Where required collaborate with other stakeholders to deliver creative support around our organisation as required
- Work with the UK & PD Operational Directors & e-commerce Director on what bringing the brand to life means for stores & web/call centres
Budget
- Ensure PO's raised on time as per company guidelines
- Effectively manage budgets allocated for the role remit; actively support the Head of Content & Creative on budget reconciliation & forecasting
- Continuously look for ways to be more effective with spend & save money
Team
- Hiring, developing and retaining talent within a positive environment. Ensuring that the team has the right attributes and configuration to enable success.
- Develop succession plans that are fit for purpose now and in the future.
- Develop people at all levels through 1:1s, team meetings, coaching and consistent feedback
Knowledge and experience
- 5yrs+ broad creative services experience (preferably including retail marketing and digital marketing applications)
- Ability to write marketing briefs and experience in briefing agencies
- Experience in running a creative studio of designers, artworkers and copywriters
- Strong creative eye
- Knowledge of print & digital creation and management tools eg DAM systems
- Team management & people development track record
- Planned & organised
- Great communication & presentation skills familiar with traversing across multinational organisations also advantageous
- Budget management experience
- Excel, PowerPoint & Word skills
- Degree educated
- C.I.M or marketing related qualifications
- Background in account management/design
