Job Details

Our client is an all-service graphic and web design agency based in London. They are a team of designers, animators, illustrators and website designers, who work with some of the biggest names on the London entertainment/theatre scene. They create beautiful concept designs/artworks, bespoke illustrations, social animations, websites, HMTL5 emails, graphic content and much more.They currently have a great opportunity for a Junior Designer to join their creative studio.

The Role
We're looking for a Junior Designer with existing, real-life expertise in Photoshop and a razor- sharp eye for detail to join our team. Reporting to a Senior Designer, you'll be working from day one on a wide variety of work - you'll find yourself working across animation, print and digital, from rolling out multiple formats of artwork for a theatre campaign, to creating HTML5 emails for a marketing mail-out, through to animating static artwork for a client's social media. ?

You'll have direct contact with a wide variety of genuinely lovely clients, and you'll be fully supported by our friendly team. As well as expertise in Photoshop, you must have a second-to- none attention to detail, both in terms of design detail and also proofreading. You'll be expected to be passionate about animation and design, as well as to bring your own ideas to the table and always eager to seek and take feedback. You'll be expected to bring your A-game every day, and you'll reap the benefits.

Like the rest of the team, you'll work entirely from home, which gives a great quality of life. We're in touch with each other throughout the day, so you'll never feel isolated or unsupported, and we have daily one-on-one video calls.

Skills and Requirements
You must have:

  • Real-life expertise in Adobe Photoshop, so you can start working with it from day one - An excellent, error-free level of written and spoken English
  • A razor-sharp eye for design detail
  • A second-to-none ability to proofread own and others' work

Ideally, you'll also:

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the key programmes in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Have a good working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Have a strong understanding of graphic design and animation, and what constitutes great design
  • Take inspiration from unconventional places
  • Have a 'can-do' and positive attitude
  • Be super-organised
  • Be able to work independently and prioritise effectively
  • Be able to stay calm under pressure
  • Be able to work with multiple demands on your time
  • Any 3D animating/modelling experience is also a benefit.
